Postcards

The Little Parlour is an popular ice cream shop in South Queensferry, my home town. Queensferry is a busy tourist destination just outside Edinburgh, especially in the summer months.

I designed the postcards to highlight the main tourist attractions in the area, such as Edinburgh Castle, Greyfriars Bobby, The Forth Rail Bridge and the ice cream parlour, each being a potential memento of a visitors trip.

The cards are cheerful and bright in colour to match the style of the shop and the busy atmosphere of Edinburgh. The owner liked these so much that they got me to create a Christmas version of their card to sell in winter and display in their treat boxes.
