I was given an object from the University of Dundee Museum to tell its unique story and get people interacting with it. I received the Jersey Tiger Moth as my object and chose to focus on the fact that it is a species that is part of a group of insects which are in trouble and we should be aiming to conserve moths as they significantly contribute to their ecosystems and many people don’t know of their importance.

I developed an app that allows you to make a record of when and where you saw the moths which would then contribute to the National Moth Recording Scheme and help with their conservation.
